Advanced Trimix
The Advanced Trimix Diver course prepares you to dive safely to depths as deep as 100 m/330 ft, using hypoxic Trimix. It builds on your prior Trimix Diver training, covering more advanced dive planning and dealing with more extensive decompression requirements.
The course generally takes at least two days and four dives. You can sign up in person, over the phone or online by clicking the button below. If you sign up online, you will still need to call to schedule your class.

Several miles northwest of the Dry Tortugas, you’ll find a piece of history lying on the bottom. It’s the U-2513, one of the most advanced of all World War II German U-boats. Known as an Elektroboot, its design influenced that of the first US nuclear submarine, Nautilus, and a generation of subs to follow.
The catch is, the U-2513 lies in 218 feet of water. If you try to dive that on air, you will be at a dangerously high PO2 of 1.6 ATA. Worse, you will be narced out of your mind, unable to make critical decisions or perform simple tasks.
The only way to make dives like these safely is with Trimix. And not just any Trimix. To keep your PO2 within 1.4 ATA, you need a Trimix mixture that’s hypoxic near the surface. This imposes yet another risk in itself. You will also be looking at longer decompression and need to carry the necessary deco gas plus a reserve. So how do you learn to do this?
