Open Water Training Referral

If you are coming to or have arrived in south Florida with referral paperwork from your local dive center, we can complete your final training dives for certification.
- We handle referrals from all major training agencies, including NAUI, PADI, SSI, SDI and NASE.
- Referral training involves four dives made over two days. We make all dives from local beaches.
You can sign up in person, over the phone or online by clicking the button below. If you sign up online, you will still need to call to schedule your class.
This program generally takes two days and four dives. With sufficient notice, we can usually offer this course when it’s most convenient for you.
We will need all of the referral paperwork your dive center gave you as well as a copy of your medical history and physician’s approval if one was required.

- All others: $399

- We will need all of the referall paperwork your dive center gave you as well as a copy of your medical history and physician’s approval if one was required.
- If your instructor had your record training sessions and skills in your logbook or training record, we will need that as well.

There may be additional requirements if it has been more than a few months since your last pool session.
In this course, we cover:
- Regulator recovery and clearning
- Mask clearing (partial and full)
- Mask removal/replacement
- BC oral inflation (surface)
- Surface swim (50 m/164 ft)
- Cramp removal
- Tired diver tow/tired diver push
- BC use under water (power/oral/run-away)
- Swim, stop, and turn while neutral
- Descents and ascents (with reference)
- Snorkel regulator exchange
- Alternate air source use (stationary)
- Alternate air source ascent
- Independent emergency ascent (CESA)
- Regulator free flow
- Air depletion exercise
- Weight removal and replacement (surface)
- Weight removal and replacement (underwater)
- Scuba removal/replacement (surface)
- Scuba removal/replacement (underwater)
- Out and back navigation 15 m/50 ft with compass
Most importantly, we don’t practice these skills until you finally get them right. We have you repeat them until you can’t do them wrong.
