By using Helitrox as a diluent, it’s possible to take your CCR as deep as 150 feet while significantly reducing the effects of narcosis. This is a next step beyond air-diluent CCR diving. It can be an important stepping stone to using hypoxic Trimix as a diluent.
Important: Be aware that all CCR training is unit-specific. You are not certified to dive any CCR; just the specific make and model on which you trained.
