The Okinawa is a former US Army tugboat. Launched in 1955, she is over 100 feet long and sits upright in 70 feet of water. A great dive for even moderately experienced divers.

The diving
Prior to its sinking, the ship was festooned with a whimsical dive bar called the Midnight Sun. It features a variety of sea creatures and a magical mermaid. As with all artificial reef, she was made “diver safe” prior to her sinking.
