Key Largo has some of the best shallowing diving in the USA. Molasses Reef is the most popular reef in the Upper Keys and is often known for its abundance in marine life.
The Site
Located just 80 minutes from the store, Key Largo enjoys the distinction of being the first thing you come to when driving through the Keys. Besides diving, Key Largo offers a wide variety of shops, dining and entertainment.
The Diving
The reefs of the upper Keys are shallow — typically 40 feet or less. This makes this trip perfect for new divers as well as photographers. You’ll typically see a variety of fish and other aquatic creatures, as well as beautiful stands of elkhorn and staghorn coral.
Data and Times
The trip date is Saturday, June 12. The boat leaves the dock at 1:00 pm and returns at 5:00 pm. This means you can drive down in the morning and return the same evening. Drive time from the shop is approximately one hour and 40 minutes.
