Built in 1967, the 324-foot Lady Luck spent the next 50 years transporting industrial sludge to facilities that would turn it into fertilizer pellets. Today she sits in 130 feet of water with the top of the wreck at 80 feet.

The wreck
Originally the Newtown Creek, the ship was retired from service in 2014 and became an artificial reef in 2016. Prior to sinking, metal sculpture Dennis MacDonald created casino-themed displays atop the hull. Due to the depth, this wreck is best suited for divers with advanced training or equivalent experience.
